Welcome to KCAA
The Kitsap County Dept. of Community Development (DCD) is updating the Rural Lands Element of its 2024 Comprehensive Plan. We want to hear from agricultural landowners and leaseholders who are directly impacted by the Comprehensive Plan and Kitsap’s Agriculture Code!
The KCAA, in partnership with the DCD, will be holding a series of community meetings where you can learn more about the planning process and share your input, ideas, and feedback. This is your chance to be heard and help shape a more sustainable and supportive future for agriculture in Kitsap County!
Upcoming Meetings:
• Saturday, May 10th | 6:00-8:30pm at the Village Green Community Center in Kingston. ** Opportunity to ask Permit Questions with Darren Gurnee, DCD.

COMING SOON: Barns of Kitsap!
Every quarter, we highlight a historical barn in our community—celebrating not just the structures, but the stories of the farmers who built and cared for them. Do you know of a historic barn with a story to tell? Or maybe you’d like us to feature your own family’s barn?
We’d love to hear from you!
