  1. Tim O’Brien –

I’ve been asked to do some ‘sleuthing’ on behalf of senior members who have seen Silver Bucks or some such being used at the Farmer’s Market here in town. They say these coupons are being given out at the ferry, but were also told that the senior centers are giving them away.

The only program I know of is called the Senior Farmers’ Market Program and involves the submission of an application for a potential $40 coupon once deemed qualified. This program is run through Kitsap Meals on Wheels.

Is there any other program for seniors that I could be made aware of? We want to be sure our folks are received every benefit available to them!!

Thanks for any insight and information!
