A day with Joel Salatin and the 7th Annual Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner, Sunday September 27th 2015.
The mission of KCAA is to provide education, resources, and advocacy for local agriculture on the Kitsap Peninsula. In keeping with these goals, we are proud to bring Joel Salatin – farmer, public speaker, writer, and advocate for local, sustainable and sensible agriculture to participate in an exciting series of events.
Throughout the day, Joel will meet with local young farmers, speak at an intimate brunch at beautiful Kiana Lodge, participate in a panel on how to create a thriving local ecology and local economy at Olympic College, and keynote KCAA’s Annual Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner at Olympic College in Bremerton.
- Kiana Lodge Brunch, 10:30am-1:00pm – $50 per person – Directions to Kiana Lodge
- Speaker Panel Discussion with Laura Ryser-WSU Extension Kitsap, Zach Wailand-Dharma Ridge Farms, and Jackie Cross-Tom Douglas Restaurants – (Please Note: The venue has been changed to the Rotunda in the Engineering Building at Olympic College), 2:30-4:30pm – $15 per person – Directions to Olympic College
- Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner (KGHD), Olympic College Bremer Student Center, Doors open at 4:00pm, Dinner from 5:00-7:00pm – Directions to Olympic College

$45 per person, $5 off for KCAA members
$80 per couple, $10 off for KCAA members
$300 for a table of 8 (Includes 1 free membership/renewal to KCAA)
$20 per student/farm intern (must show proof of status)
Children 7 and under are free!

The 7th Annual Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner brings a bounty of locally-grown food in a showcased community dining experience prepared by top-line, local chefs.
Led by Chef Chris Plemmons (Olympic College Culinary Program, Two Snooty Chefs) the presentation that awaits our locally farmed produce and livestock is certain to be a culinary delight.
Also not to be missed this year is the Silent Auction which will feature an array of local products and services.
