Welcome to KCAA

The Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance (KCAA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to improving land access and supporting farmers in Kitsap County, Washington. We host educational workshops and classes, plan events and provide resources to the farmers in our community.

The KCAA is participating in the Kitsap Great Give on April 16, 2024!

Good, healthy agriculture is regenerative. So is community support. You can help us support agriculture in Kitsap County by helping to regenerate our financial aquifer.

The Kitsap Great Give is an annual online giving event benefiting local organizations. This event provides much-needed funds for organizations like the KCAA, and sheds light on the organizations’ missions and how they benefit the community.

Here are some examples of what we are currently accomplishing in our community:

Providing regular educational events for farmers and non-farmers
Providing scholarships for young farmers participating in the Kitsap County Livestock Auction
Supporting local agriculture by providing funding and working with Kitsap Fresh
Supporting the Kitsap Agritourism Coalition with resources and financial aid for this year’s Farm Tour
Working with the Kitsap County Council to advocate for local agriculture and craft the agriculture portion of the county’s Comprehensive Plan
Upcoming events for 2024 include: Farm tours, Farm workdays, Noxious Weed workshop, Farm Business Accounting workshop and our Annual Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner.

Donations open on April 1st and continue through midnight on April 16th, the day of Kitsap Great Give.
